The Willis Tower of Chicago is the largest building in the United States. This city in the NE of Illinois draws most newcomers relocating to the state. Other cities like Springfield and Peoria also have a lot to offer and are increasing in popularity each year.
Known as “The Prairie State” Illinois has a few rivers and water streams but consists mostly of prairie lands. Outdoor enthusiasts thrive in Illinois. The Shawnee National Forest and Cape Gireadue are located in the state, each drawing thousands of visitors each year. Illinois has four very distinct seasons, giving residents sun, snow, rain, and a dose of cool spring weather.
Foodies also have plenty to appreciate about the state. The Chicago-style hot dog is known across America, but the state is home to tons of local spots and chains sure to hit the spot with their menu items no matter what you crave.
